Nous aurons l’occasion d’admirer soixante-quinze lots de la collection de Jacques Garcia, provenant de son château de Champ-de-Bataille en Normandie. Outre à être des emblèmes des arts décoratives des XVIIe, XVIIIe et XIXe siècles, ces oeuvres proviennent de collections prestigieuses, comme celles des la famille royale française (Louis XV, Louis XVI, Marie Leszczynska et Marie-Antoinette, le comte de Provence ou le duc de Bourbon), ou encore de William III et Mary II de Grande-Bretagne, sans compter le duc de Penthièvre et le duc de Hamilton ou encore Napoléon et les Rothschild.

The visit is free. Please let us know if you are unable to attend. 

We will have the opportunity to admire seventy-five lots from the collection of Jacques Garcia, from his castle of Champ-de-Bataille in Normandy. In addition to being emblems of the decorative arts of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, these works come from prestigious collections, such as those of the French royal family (Louis XV, Louis XVI, Marie Leszczynska and Marie-Antoinette, the Count of Provence or the Duke of Bourbon), or of William III and Mary II of Great Britain, not to mention the Duke of Penthievre and the Duke of Hamilton or even Napoleon and the Rothschilds.

The visit will be in French but it will be possible to translate if necessary.
