In 2009 Prof. Koen Brosens was appointed Research Professor in the History of Art Department at the KU Leuven, where he teaches European Tapestry, Art & Economics, Costume & Fashion, and 19th-century European Art. As a Research and Teaching Assistant at KULeuven (1998-2003) and a Postdoctoral Fellow of the Flemish Fund for Scientific Research-Belgium (FWO Vlaanderen) (2003-2009), he focused on entrepreneurial strategies devised by early modern European tapestry producers.

Dr. Mark Westgarth, Lecturer, Art History & Museum Studies BA Leeds, PGCHE Salford, MA Leeds, PhD Southampton. His PhD investigated the Emergence of the Antique and Curiosity Dealer in the first half of the nineteenth century. His research interests focus on the history and theory of museums and the history of the art market and histories of collecting, especially in relation to the agency of the antique and curiosity dealer in the 19th and 20th centuries. Dr. Westgarth led the research project, Antique Dealers: the British Antique Trade in the 20th Century, a cultural geography which seeks to map, contextualize and critically analyse the antiques trade as it has evolved and developed in Britain in the 20th century.
