The inaugural Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Lecture celebrates the ever expanding field of the History of Collecting. This year’s lecture will be given by distinguished Professor Paula Findlen of Stanford University on Oliver Impey and Arthur MacGregor’s groundbreaking publication The Origins of Museums. Her lecture will be followed by a discussion between Arthur MacGregor and Bill Sherman. Supported by the Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Trust, this special lecture is an event not to be missed!
