Appel à communication : « Séminaire Collection 2020 (Paris) »

Les organisateurs de Collection/Séminaire sur le collectionnisme et le marché de l’art, lancent un appel à communication pour les séances mensuelles du séminaire en 2020. Le séminaire Collection entend être un lieu de rencontre qui permet la discussion entre universitaires et conservateurs venus présenter de nouvelles recherches sur tous les sujets relatifs à l’histoire des collections et du marché de l’art. Les communications pourront concerner toutes les époques sans limitations géographiques et aborder par exemple la constitution et la vie des collections, (privées et muséales), les collectionneurs et les acteurs du marché de l’art, autant que des réflexions méthodologiques sur les sources et les outils, y compris numériques.

Chaque séance est formée d’une présentation de 45 minutes suivie d’une discussion. Les séminaires se tiendront, à l’Institut national d’histoire de l’art (INHA), de 18h30 à 20h00, les mardis 18 février, 17 mars, 7 avril, 5 mai et 9 juin. Les dates du 2esemestre seront indiquées ultérieurement.

Les propositions (300 mots) accompagnées d’un CV concis et des dates auxquelles vous n’êtes pas disponibles sont à envoyer avant le vendredi 8 novembre 2019 à collection.seminaire@gmail.com

The conveners of Collection/ Seminar for History of Collecting and Art Market (Paris), invite applications for papers for their monthly seminars at the Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art in 2020. The Seminar provides a forum for academics and curators to present and discuss new research on any topic related to collecting and art market in its widest understanding, both chronologically and in terms of subject matter.

Seminar papers are normally 45 minutes in length followed by an extended discussion, and all the seminars take place at the Institut national d’histoire de l’art (Paris) between 6.30 and 8pm, the 18thFebruary, 17thMarch, 7thApril, 5thMay and 9thJune.

If interested, please send a short text (300 words) and a brief CV, indicating any months when you would not be available to speak, by Friday 8th November 2019.

We are unable to cover travel or accommodation costs.
