We are an international not-for-profit society established in 2016 to bring together scholars from diverse disciplines, as well as collectors, museum curators, professionals and those of the general audience who are interested in the study of collecting in all its ramifications. We cover all aspects of collecting, whether amassed by private individuals or public institutions, and ranging through any time in the past to the present day, including the relationship between collecting and the art market. An international educational charity, we are affiliated with the College Art Association, the Renaissance Society of America, and Sixteenth Century Society.
