REDISCOVERING WILLIAM BURGES FURNITURE

As a furniture conservator, Tom Lawrence has been fortunate to work on many pieces made by excellent craftsmen over the last four centuries. You may have already read his article in our May Newsletter about the work to conserve and repair the 18th century bookcases in the Library at Shardeloes. This talk is about his experience working on furniture designed by the English architect and designer William Burges.
The event will be in the Kings Chapel in Amersham High Street. Doors open at 7.30pm when coffee/tea and biscuits will be served and the talk will start at 8.00pm.
All are welcome. The entrance charge remains £2 for members and £3 for non-members.
